7th Annual UCSD PostDoctoral Research Symposium | Price Center | Wednesday, 04. December 2019

The campus-wide Postdoc Research Symposium is back!!!
This forum is a perfect opportunity for Post-Doc fellows to present their work to their peers and industry professionals, discuss and improve their communication skills, network and establish new collaborations. Also we would like to invite graduate students to join us and discovered the research that is done in the campus.
Attendants will be able to vote for their favotire talk in our research 3 min slam presentations. We wil have a workshop about communication skills and later on you will be able to join our communication and outreach reasource fair. You will have the chance to get in touch with some museums, blogs and organizations that do science outreach but also loads of other tools to improve your communication skills.
To top it all we are pleased to have Diane Ebert-May as the keynote speaker with a talk entitled "Transforming how we TEACH is good, but transforming what we expect students to LEARN is better"
Please, join us, lunch will be provided and drink tickets for the award ceremony and reception will be provided for those who complete stamp cards at the resource fair.

11:10am-12:10am: Research communication workshop by Dr. Hudson Freeze "Communicating Science to the Public: Our World, Your Future"
12:10-12:50pm: Lunch break
