Women with Purpose: Eastern Ontario Peer Circles | Monday, 04. May 2020
About this Event
This time of collective uncertainty is impacting all of us - emotionally, physically, spiritually, and in the way we work. Now more than ever, it is important to come together and support one another.
Starting May 4, 2020, join the Women with Purpose: Eastern Ontario Peer Circles to connect with like-minded women-identified entrepreneurs who have a vision to create an impact in their communities. During these sessions, we will:
- Introduce the Women of Ontario Social Enterprise Network (WOSEN) and define how we plan to support 150 new women-led social enterprises and expand 75 existing ones;
- Invite you to share more about yourself, your organization, and your vision for impact; and
- Listen to and learn from the other incredible individuals in the room.
Please register for one or more of the Women with Purpose sessions on Eventbrite. Questions and comments can be directed to email. If you reside outside of Eastern Ontario and are still interested in participating, please reach out and we will direct you to our WOSEN partners.
This program is run by the Women of Ontario Social Enterprise Network (WOSEN), an Ontario-wide collaborative led by Pillar Nonprofit Network, alongside the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), SVX and NORDIK Institute’s Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (SEE). The WOSEN Partners have extensive knowledge in building and convening networks to support social enterprise in Ontario and beyond.
WOSEN is dedicated to equity and inclusion, and seeks to support women-identfied and non-binary entrepreneurs from underserved and underrepresented communities, including - Indigenous women, women in rural or remote regions, racialized women, newcomer women, LGBTQ2+, women with disabilities, and those who identify as non-binary.
In response to COVID-19, WOSEN is shifting our programming to be able to deliver online, and adjusting our content to reflect current realities faced by women entrepreneurs and supporters so they can be resilient in their response to today’s challenges.
